Number 6 reminded me of the classic Systems Engineering saying with respect to Verification & Validation:

Verification - Are we building the thing right?

Validation - Are we building the right thing?

This is a brilliant look at it. whether you're considering accuracy or its relevance, are we building the right thing?

And with that, you just gave me an excellent idea for my next article. THANK YOU 😊

If I wanted to write about all the mistakes I've made in my life I'd get stuck in a recursive loop 😂 good article, thanks!

Thank you Ame for the insights here. For colors on a Dashboard, I would add that finding the colors that work best for those that are color blind usually will probably a simple and good visible mix. A prior team I provided Dashboards for had 2 color-blind team members. I worked to not have blues and greens right next to each other, as they would just look the same in their eyes. I found the better separation of colors looked better for everyone in the end.

Thanks Colette. I always try to separate some colors, especially blue and green and red. that’s why one of my favourite colors is white. I think white spaces makes it look better for everyone.

thanks for reading.
